Stressors that overshadow respect for MJ

MJ Love
Do you value what Michael has so often said; “I love you”…
“I love you more.” ?
I wrote this in honor of his words; with great respect for a man of a genuinely caring nature.
Over this past year, millions of people have expressed their love for Michael Jackson; admirers of all ages and backgrounds, from all over the world. It has been like a rising fever of fans, growing supporters of his innocence, and curious onlookers of his magnetism. As I interrelate with others who also take interest in MJ, I am especially moved by the wonderful expressions of gratitude by people who speak of his wisdom. The love we have inside is enlivened by Michael’s love. Non-profit organizations, forums, groups, and websites have developed in light of his spirit with further dedication to healing the earth and humanity. This is really beautiful.

Other times, I’ve noticed gossip about Michael. There have been many opinions, falsehoods and much speculation, from the media and fans, that I didn’t care to ever witness. What makes it worse is the additional gossip about his children and the rest of his family. This hurts because it is so disrespectful.
This is just what many of us have frequently expressed our disdain for about media. I understand that people do not have a sense of resolve, thus are hurt and frustrated regarding that awful day, one year ago. Yet, it just isn’t necessary to share anything that is not in the light of love and truthful, as reaction to this. Must people put down Michael’s siblings and father ? Must people complement and copy “private” web-cam videos of his children, knowing how Michael yearned for privacy ?

Must people use the word “hate” in reference to Murray and pre-maturely convict him as Michael was five years ago ? Two wrongs don’t make a right. It is quite apparent that the events of that awful day, and reports since, have been quite odd and inconsistent. Meanwhile, why speculate about what happened to Michael ? Speculation, rumors and lies are what hurt Michael so much in the past. Such talk is not the way to reasonably seek resolve regarding his passing. The Murray case is about justice; not judgment, plain and simple. There is no consistent factual information that justifies condemnation of this man. Michael repeated himself that a man is innocent until proven guilty.

There are others who beLIEve Michael faked his death. Though there are reasons to believe that this could be true, how dare some speak for Michael. Some hoaxers claim that he faked his death in order to show disdain for particular groups and people. Did Michael ever state so himself ? Michael’s documentary, This Is It, was meant to be viewed, heard, and understood for what it is. It is not meant to be taken out of context or distorted. Honest messages and true symbolism are not meant to be picked-apart and delved into.
With consideration that much time has gone by, since Michael “passed”, I notice an overly anxious quest for resolve by people. Bits of information have often been exaggerated and embarked upon unreasonably without factual basis in a quest for answers. Some people have allowed their egos to override their hearts.
Others have gotten so caught up in their own agenda that they seem to have lost sight of Michael’s values as they express their opinions as if on his behalf. Moreover, some people have changed the words of others for their own purposes. Unfortunately, some people have been so motivated by their own love for Michael, that they’ve taken Michael’s love for granted and the incredible love that we all share for granted. This isn’t right, in respect to Michael, and it is also not fair to all of us who love him.

Due to the opinions and presumptions flying around, people inevitably disagree with one another and argue over Michael. This is hardly in light of Michael’s love. We must overcome our differences for Michael and over Michael. We can at least agree to disagree and respect one-another’s view-points. We need to re-strengthen our self-respect and mutual respect for one another. Playing the blame game and competition, at the expense of others, hardly insures self-respect. Standing for truth with love does. Please consider that passing on fabricated stories destroys mutual respect, let alone demeans respect for Michael. * Underneath all of this, we share a common ground that is love. This is something very powerful and exists as something we need not even look for. What we need to do is bring this wondrous love back into light. We need to re-establish our shared love for Michael and respect Michael, as well as regain our respect for one another.
Believe me when I say that I can see that there is more love expressed for Michael Jackson than disrespect. Most of the love shown for Michael is very real. It is heartfelt and I realize that it runs very deep for many people. Meanwhile, the discord that currently exists needs to transpose to harmony.

We must each make a more conscientious effort to make sure whatever we say is without words that may be cruel or hurtful to someone. There are times when some things are better left unsaid. Or we can choose to think through our word usage, with unconditional love, prior to sharing our thoughts. This is not easy at times, as we all feel anger, uncertain of love and doubtful of the future from time to time. Michael has gotten angry too; of course. I think about how passionately he sang-out “This Time Around”.
He was able to let go of the frustrations he felt, and ready himself to move on, rather than take his anger out on others. I suggest we also sense the feelings that arise from MJ’s other songs, such as “Human Nature”, “I’ll Be There” and “Cry”.

May I further suggest we also ponder the awful pain Michael endured and horror he experienced (which we can only imagine) and yet, prevailed through it all. There is strength, healing and reassurance to be gained from his words of love. As supporters of Michael Jackson’s innocence, legacy and honor, I feel we have an opportune responsibility. Many people have heard Michael’s music and failed to listen. Many more listen now, yet there are more doubters of his innocence who we need to reach. To really know the essence of his music, is to know love. To know this love is to know his truth.
Since the media caused such disgrace to his honor and chooses self-righteousness over integrity, “it’s up to us” to share his love, as he is not here. This would be much easier to do, with conviction, as a unified force. “There’s nothing that can’t be done, if we raise our voice as one!” MJ

The media divides people with their opinions, falsehoods and gossip. We’re much better than that and cannot afford to carry on divided. This is of the utmost importance with respect to Michael. Until the dark cloud, which has loomed over his legacy dissipates; we shall continue to stand for his truth; for as long as ignorance thrives. Please consider that until his name is cleared, he will not be rightfully
recognized for his charitable work, as a true power of example to all.
We’re on the offense. No need to defend MJ; the facts have been out a long time now. We just need to expose the truth more prolifically since the media failed Michael, failed us and the public at large. After all, we are an army of love. It’s up to us to speak up for his innocence as we acknowledge all of the love he has shown us. “I love you more” is quoted by Michael more and more every day.
“If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with.”MJ Meanwhile, love is our truth.

When I notice myself questioning whether or not to express something, I simply refer to Michael. With the utmost respect for Michael one need only ask oneself three questions:
Is this respectful to Michael ? Do I know for a fact that what I say is true? Is this in the light of love?
I‘m just asking people to please remember that it is respect that Michael has often been denied. He lacked respect for his privacy and welfare, respect for his passion and honesty, respect for who he really is and has proven to be, respect for his humanitarianism and his humility.

Now, we also need to consider the lack of respect for Prince, Paris and Blanket. For us to truly love Michael and his children, is to always refer to them truthfully; with dignity, love and respect. “You’re Just Another Part of Me” MJ
Whether you believe Michael is dead or alive; his spirit matters, his legacy matters and truth matters.
“Let us dream of tomorrow…”, as we work for a better tomorrow ,“ where we can truly love from the soul, and know love as the ultimate truth at the heart of all creation.” Michael J. Jackson

For me Michael is the impersonation of innocence. It is so sad that some people don’t see the same because of preconceived ideas. It is more important to value his legacy,to appreciate the man he was,the message he left for the world. The words “hate” and “Michael” can’t be in the same sentence. We are humans,we are resonable,so we can let go the frustrations we feel, and appreciate Michael at his real value.I’ll always respect his memory and love the wondeful person he was.

This was a great post. Not only do we need to educate the “haters” or “doubters”, but also the new fans, especially the young ones, who have not taken the time to really learn about Michael or understand him. I have had several recent conversations with young fans with whom I had to educate about Vitiligo, skin color and Bi-racial children, as they all had false notions and assumptions about these things as they related to Michael’s life. We can’t assume that if someone considers themselves a “fan”, that they are educated about the various misperceptions about MJ. We have to really speak out with our actions, and “walk the walk”.

Here is a great suggestion for dealing with this-

To email MSNBC that your household will quit watching MSNBC and Dateline NBC beginning
on the day that Martin Bashir starts in September:

    1) go to:
choose “Dateline” from the drop-down list
    2) Then scroll down to the “Comment” box and write your comment or statement
    3) Then click on “Submit”

That’s all there is to it. Let’s bury MSNBC with emails letting them know our households will boycott their channel when Bashir joins it.
