In Defense Of The King

Please read the update/correction to this blog:
https://whataboutmj.wordpress.com/2010/10/02/correction-to-in-defense-of-the-king/

Michael Jackson’s former bodyguards speaks out for the first time about their time with Michael. Well actually they are now trying to publish a book with their innermost secrets about Michael and I think it’s about time we get some positive things about him. Every day there is news about MJ but 98% of these news are bad and untrue which is sad because the media will never stop saying negative things about him. Yes we had Aphrodite Jones and yes we enjoyed reading her book, a book that nearly wasn’t published because this was actually someone who stood up for Michael through tough times.

Now we have these three bodyguards trying to do the same and the last thing I read about their book was, that they have been turned down so many times with their book

In Defense Of The King

No one want’s to publish it, maybe because this is a clean and fair book and publishers aren’t interested in the good stuff about MJ. This is really sad.

Well I found 2 videos on YouTube where these three men talks to ABC news and are giving us and the world an insight in Michael’s life, and to me they sound sincere about their work

Lets have a short look about what they are saying in this interview shall we.

1: They talk about the children and how they were like any regular kids like yours and mine. They talk about how they tried to get cookies from them without “asking” their father and how they sometimes would go out and grab a burger. This sounds like fun and just like normal kids but first and foremost they gives us the expression about what kind of wonderful father Michael was to his children and we don’t even want to question that, because we all know he was a loving, carrying and a wonderful father.

2: They also talk about how Michael vented to them and he vented a lot and this is a bit sad for me because this means he had no one to turn to other than these 3 people. This shows us that Michael was really very much alone and had only a few people to turn to when things was bad. One of the bodyguards says that he remember Michael being so frustrated that he threw the bodyguards phone through the window and turns to him and say “ you might get a new phone”.

3: Now this is a bit too much information and I really don’t think we need to hear this from the men Michael trusted with his life, but as the interview continues one of the bodyguards mentions marijuana  and says “ he asked for it sometimes”. Hmm why does he say that? I know the reporter asked “ was Michael taking drugs” but instead of answering that question he or the others could have said “ no comment”. To me as I watched the interview this was exploring Michael a bit too much.

This is just a small piece of the interview and I suggest if you haven’t seen it yet then please do because it is a very good interview and like I said in the beginning these three men seems sincere.

Okay moving on. These guys are also answering questions from you the fans on Facebook and twitter which I think is wonderful and yet something is nagging me here. But let me start with the positive things first.
I particular liked one of the questions they answered and this was a question about Michael making dinner for his children. This shows us that behind his status The King Of Pop, Michael was a human being and I truly hope the media can see what we have seen in Michael all the time. That he is a normal human being.
Then there is all kinds of questions like “ what is his favorite music, what is his favorite color etc etc.. “ But there are some questions that shouldn’t even be mentioned and by doing that they are causing a stir in the hoax community. I won’t put the question and answer here because this is again a non hoax blog and this particular question and answer is already being debated on several hoax forums.
There is something else I noticed when they are answering questions and that is when a fan ask about a certain thing and Bill’s answer is “oops I have already said too much you can read it in the book” Personally I think it is a bit brave to say they can read it in the book, when no one want’s to publish it. Here is my suggestion for Bill: If you know that you can’t answer a question then you say “ I can’t answer that yet” instead of answering some of the question and end you answer with an Oops.

There is no need for them or the one who is answering the questions to even begin answering a question they or he knows can’t be answered. I suggest they stick to that fact that they were former employes and they want to write a book about their client.
These guys are the fans backstage pass to Michael’s life as it was, not they way his life is being explored right now by the hoaxers.

Before I started this blog I wanted them to do a little interview for this blog so I sent them 2 emails and they haven’t replied. I wanted them to answer me a few questions so I could paste them in this blog. I hope they will read this blog and maybe answer the questions I have for them here.

So thank you Bill, Mike and Javon for doing this and I can’t wait to read your book when it is published. I really do hope they will succeed with their book because I believe people want to read positive things about their idol.

Notice: My questions for these guys are NOT mentioned in this blog.

Well I honestly think this will be a very good book.. And it’s a shame no one will publish it but I do hope they will find someone soon so their book will come out..

I am concerned about these guys. What I think is that they are getting the opportunity to make money. I wonder how many more of his “loyal” people are going to start telling their “good” stories about Michael….for money. How sincere can they be?? I don´t really know. The only book I could believe in is in Michael´s mother´s.

Well of course they will make money with this book.. But with that being said we don’t know if they are donating these money or some of them to charities.

Agree Lisa..no one would expect them not to make money – but at least this looks like the book is will be a positive and realistic look at Michael’s life – unlike much of the trash that has already been published. I wish them well.

@arabian nights: your concerns are natural. I have been on their FB since day one. They are actually very sincere and not writing a book to trash MJ. They just feel very strongly that someone has to defend him as nobody else did. I admire them. They are regular guys and their heart….their hears are much bigger than their physical presence. Much Love!

    Enjoyed reading the blog Lisa!

Thank you so much.. I also think they are doing the right thing with this book.. Like Aphrodite these men are defending Michael and we need more people like them to be there for MJ.. He was chased for so many years and all the negative things said about him.. It breaks my heart when I think about it.. I honestly think they are there for him no matter what..

So Bill, Mike and Javon I truly hope you will suceed with this book.. I am buying it..

        September 10, 2010 at 23:32

Actually yes, some proceeds of the book are going to charities. However; Bill will not say which….he says it will be in the book.

there are some concerns about AJ’s she admits that she went in with a pre-determined view of mikes guilt, she listened to the prosecution evidence and never seemed to hear the winning defence case. she admits she wanted to be part of the media pack against mike. she said it was only after a year when she got permission to look at the evidence from the trial judge did she accept mikes innocence and she decided to do the book. you see at the time she did not listen, she did not hear. The evidence was not technical, it was not difficult, in fact as you know there was no evidence against mike. listen to her interviews on yt.

I do think this is a good idea. How will we clear MJ’s name if nobody tells us how he was in real life, raising his kids and things like that.

  5. September 10, 2010 at 23:26

I will look forward to read it, I do that with anything positive and respectful and I expect this book to be that..;)

they were employees, they must have had employment contracts with confidentiality agreements/clauses, mike was hot on that. so in death they print? smacks at dickens to me.

it was mike’s personal life, his home life, his private life they are selling, this has happened countless times. A previous bodyguard wrote a book during one set of accusations, bob jones did, other bodyguards have done stories, other employees have sold mikes possessions, or stolen from him.

he wanted his privacy, he said that many times.

they kept letters paris wrote about cat food why? they talk about his debts, about how they were the gatekeepers, so it was not tohme then, but the bodyguards that controlled mike? it matters not whether it’s good or bad, to preserve someones privacy there are no exceptions.

so what are they covering , his private home life, his private comments, his friendships and family, his private moments with a special friend, his kids private lives and how the mj household operates, drugs etc. i think that is all private, they are thus in my mind breaching mikes trust. how many have done this already. why are they any different?

they say that the fans deserve to have this information, what’s more important preserving mike’s privacy or fans desire? They also comment about the “Real fans” havent we heard this all before, ppl dividing fans and mj supporters or the general public. They are also rude to the fans, saying they cared, they knew him all we guys know are his CDs. Hello – the ratner effect. and who are they to be shouting down mjs supporters?

i think its contrary to the views on this site. but i am alone on this one – please dont kick my ass too much. still love you guys, big hugs.x

I understand your concerns Arabian Nights… it’s hard to know who to trust when it comes to Michael – he’s been stabbed in the back by so many. I just hope your are wrong 🙂

I truly respect your opinion and doubts. Having been able to experience the authors true character, I have a lot of respect for him. Michael was slammed all of his life through the media and portrayed as a freak of sorts. Nothing was further from the truth. I just can’t help but want these men to bring out the truth of who he was. Perhaps this book might change the views of only one hater or maybe of many but that is what I hope will happen. To have not the fans but those who judged and were not fans to be introduced to the man, not the pop star and for them to realize what the judgment and slander caused. We as devoted fans have all been touched and changed by Michael. I want those who haven’t a clue to experience that. That to me is carrying his legacy forward.

Arabian Nights: Nobody is going to kick your ass and if they try know that you are above them. Just treat those with whom you disagree with respect and the same will be returned to you;) We don’t all have to agree but it is necessary for us to love. Be blessed in all that you do:)

I agree with you totally. They’re doing it for the money. If they really were friends, they’d keep their mouths shut. Why do fans deserve anything? MJ gave his all and it wasn’t enough for some people. Any book should be in MJ’s defense and concentrate on all of the good works he did in this world…It’s bad enough that every little thing in regards to MJ now is picked apart for ‘clues’ by hoax believers. Everyone still wants a piece of him…and to claim their own ten minutes of fame…sad…

Yes,arabian nights, you have a point here,I understand and I agree with you. So,we are waiting and we’ll see what is”tomorow”bringing to us.I hope we’ll have a book in real defence of the King.Like Zilda says,we expect this book to be positive and respectful.Actually, why do I have some doubts?

Yep, haven’t you found it quite interesting how SO MANY people have come out since 6/25/09 to give away all of MJ’s personal info?? WTH gives?? Is there no respect for the “dead” anymore?? Confidentiality agreements must cease upon “death” huh??

  10. September 12, 2010 at 23:55

    Zilda :

I will look forward to read it, I do that with anything positive and respectful and I expect this book to be that..;)

I have to say that arabian nights have changed my mind, Michaels personal information and documents or data, are private. They belong to the estate, not his bodyguards.

Well I have to agree on this one Zilda and AN.. There are a lot of things that could be very wrong in publish this book.. AN you have some very good questions here and I have to say that my mind changed a bit.. So when I get all the questions and answers where I want them to be I will write a new blog about this topic..
