Attention whore or supporter?

I am beyond shocked. This blog site is called What About MJ so I ask you dear reader ~what about him?

I was on Twitter last night when Tajjackson3 “comes” in and like always people started to tweet him with this and that, when some asked Taj about the Oprah interview in the Encino house. Within a few minutes, approx. 20 people, tweeted Taj with all kind of questions and of course Taj replied some of them. Some of the questions was about how much some people hated Oprah for what she did to Michael. Some people said that they supported Taj and the entire Jackson family, and that they considered themselves as MJsupporters. Oh really?

And the interview with Oprah is yet to be shown, so I cannot understand why so many people despise the interview she’s doing with the Jackson family, when none of you have seen it yet. I don’t think it’s very polite or supportive to tweet these things to a Jackson family member. Besides that, it’s their life and their home and they decide what they want and don’t want. I don’t think any MJ fans should decide what’s best for the Jackson family and what they should be doing or not.

Many have said they cannot understand Oprah’s silence and why she doesn’t speak up after MJ’s death, maybe apologizing some of the things she said during the 03-05 trial ~ and that she doubted Michael skin disorder back in 93′ etc. Again like I said, none of us really know what the Katherine~Joe interview is about, other than to “set the record straight”. We don’t know if she in fact wants to say anything about her doubts and maybe apologize to his parents. Please keep an open mind and don’t judge before you have seen the interview.

I understand you all want justice for Michael and everyone wants to clear his name. So here’s my question for you dear readers. Why is it that within minutes tons of people are saying on Twitter to a Jackson family member, that they will support Michael and his family, but only a few signed the petition we have in our sidebar and have spent so much time on telling you about?

Some of the people used more than 2 minutes on Twitter to tweet Taj, but a lot don’t want to use 2 minutes to sign the petition.

Now I have to ask this. Is this just to get attention when they tweet a Jackson member? Is your words on supporting Michael just empty phrases?

How can people on twitter say they hate Oprah when they don’t know her?

Back off.. don’t come any closer..
I found this comment today in a hoax forum, and I was amazed to read about what they said about a fan following MJ in a shopping center. Yes she was following him closely around the mall and yes he told her in a polite way to back off. I took a screen shot of the comment and I want you, dear readers, to read what this person said about the fan:

http://www.michaeljacksonhoaxdeath.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=11776&start=40

Now here is where I don’t understand the difference between this fan following MJ and the hoaxers. From what I can see the hoaxers are doing the exact same thing to MJ, as this person describes in her comment what the fan was doing to him.. I really can’t spot the difference.  They stalk him, invade his privacy and shred his life to pieces.

Let me end this blog with this and I ask of you again to sign the petition we have in our sidebar.

You talk the talk ~ but do you walk the walk?

I agree with a lot of what you say.. about the selfishness of love and the stalking of MJ, whether in person or on the web. I also been flabbergasted by the tons of tweets out there professing a deep and abiding love for this gentle human being, but not the interest to get involved in fighting back against the media bias. i am a people watcher by nature and the past 16 months I have seen many variations of so-called MJ fans. Some people are too much involved in their own fabricated MJ intrigues that they have invented to play games within this emotionally charged venue- In my mind..they fall into MJ hater category. Some are too young and innocent to understand or have a deep understanding of what mental and physical tortures the media set up MJ for 25 yrs. Some appreciate him purely on a musical level and don’t care or want to delve into all of the negativity in the media. Then you have your naysayers.. these are the ones who tell me that I am wasting my time fighting against the powers that be…. they say nothing I do or say or tweet will change anything… Unfortunately, the ones who have some grit, who are willing to go that extra mile, tweet that extra tweet, who are willing to spread the truth and make a change in the way the public perceives Michael Jackson are in the minority.

MJJJusticeProject is YOU.. seriously! It’s just a matter of when you want to get involved in something that is bigger than you and something that may be outside your individual comfort zone. This is not a pleasant journey, it is filled with the most nasty of false allegations, speculative and salacious statements by mass media and false testimony of people who were greedy or had axes to grind against MJ. It isn’t pretty and sometimes the enormity of the deceit and downright baseness of the humans who perpetrated the biggest extortion and conspiracy against MJ, both individually and in concert with law enforcement, and the press can rip at my heart. Sure! It makes me weep but I am not one to sit, weep and bemoan the condition of things and do nothing. MJ is my brother … he is a brother to all of humanity and I will continue to do what I do whether or not anyone else signs our petition.

I agree with you budsgirl.. we often see a big gap between saying they support MJ and actually doing it.
It is not enough to tweet that you support him and want justice for him, you have to take action. Changes starts with YOU.

So if you already have signed the petition, maybe you could support this project of justice by spreading the message and tell others about the petition.

The message here is as clear as water! Are you a fan or an attention seeker? Do you really care about MJ or are you just on social networks to get a chance to receive a reply from a Jackson family member? Right, Lisa! That’s the point: words, words, words: but no action! A profusion of love on public display: but no respect for MJ & his family!
Who are we to judge Oprah? Even if we knew her personally,we have no right to judge her! Why do we compare ourselves to God? Wouldn’t it be better to have complete knowledge of the entire matter before expressing our “personal” point of view? It’s easy to offend her…well,i prefer giving Oprah the benefit of a 2nd chance. In the nearby future she is going to interview some family members at Encino House. Let’s wait and see! In the meanwhile, have a look at http://bit.ly/bRCTZm !
IT TAKES ONLY A COUPLE OF MINUTES….

have we forgotten her recent comments? i think given her history that caution is a better position. i recall that she said after mjs death that we will never know if he was a xx. i have watched her interviews – whole interviews on mjs interview multi-pack dvds and she is very insulting. remember ops history, maybe she has demons she has not dealt with, and deflects this on mj, an innocent person.

it is godly to forgive, but sorry i am not on that page yet.

I didn’t say I forgave her but I do think we need to see the interview before we judge it.
If we think of Michael for once we know he forgave everyone who attacked him during the years, uhmm I think the only one he didn’t forgave was T.S, and we need to calm down for a while.
I won’t judge anything before I’ve seen it.

how many times does oprah have to slap the jacksons in the face. you dont have to wait for the blow to land before you walk away.

her dislike for michael spilled over to his ex wife, not a good interview. entertainment for her. she had a good laugh, she questioned why any1 would want to marry him. (nice).

remember how she helped to ruined the beef market in USA, her behaviour can cause major problems.

she believes he is a xx, she delayed giving a statement on his death, she refused to attend his memorial/funeral, not even as a mark of respect.

she made public her comments in 2009 about never knowing the truth, 4 years after the acquittal.

her interviews stand as testament to her disregard for him and his family.

her recent comments to Fortune magazine are not excusable, not now not in the future.

she mocks him, she has no respect for him, it shines out.

how do we know that michael forgave opr, he had a haters list she was not on that, but opr is very powerful, she can break ppl by one sentence.

if someone really thought you were a xx would you want to have anything to do with them. it does not make sense to think that. xx is a major taboo, you cant erase it from ppls minds all you can do is educate.

remember her interview with janet post death, seemingly blaming michael for his death. is she working for the defence?

its not always wrong to take a view especially based on fact. it can protect you from a greater harm. thats what happens in life you learn to avoid certain ppl and certain situations.

the jacksons are divided on the opr interview, taj and randy speaking out against it.

photos of the meeting on the internet, pictures of coffee table book and the belt – not approved by the estate

        you just have to wonder

as i said before opr has lots of baggage and because of her own issues she has judged michael. so if we are saying someone should not judge then i suggest that we ask her not to judge him because her judgement is not based on fact but on rumour.

my view is based on her behaviour, comments, interviews etc, i have more grounds to judge her than she has to judge michael.

just confirmed on twitter by jodi gomes, mike despised what oprah said and did to him. “I’ll say this, MJ despised what O did/said to him (as do I). FACT. at some point, wrong has to be righted. MEDIA must do right by MJ,period.”

        • lisalittleme
          October 13, 2010 at 19:10

YOu’re absolutly right but Jodi also said she did not want to discuss or get into the O thing and yet ppl tweet her with all kinds of questions.
But no matter what ppl say this interview will happen.. We can’t do anything about it at all and again we don’t know what kind of deal they have (Oprah and the Jackson ~ Katherine and Joe). Again I’m not pro on Oprah but I haven’t seen the intervew yet and will decide my actions after i’ve watched it.

Cab you please explain why you are putting together in a blog Oprah, a petition and talk about fans being stalkers? What is the relationship of all these together? Are you against the fan followers? Why is that logo of TINI being used on this blog may I ask, do you have the right to do so?

    • October 13, 2010 at 08:46

I don’t know who made that logo originally, but you are right and I have removed it.

    • lisalittleme
      October 13, 2010 at 08:47

The reason why I put it all together is because you can link it together. Oprah is being attacked by fans for what she did and said, Michaels life is being invaded by hoaxers meaning that they explore everything about him and his personal life.. I have seen disgusting pictures of his private parts in these forums with drowling smileys attached. The petition is again linked together with the Oprah attack on twitter and elsewhere. Fans say they support Michael when it comes to clear his name but only a few sign the petition which only btw need 10.000 signatures so they can handle it over to the right people.

  6. October 13, 2010 at 01:20

Yes, it certainly astonishes and bewilders me. I am indeed perplexed. Some say they will do anything, but I have yet to see support by them in some way that will eventually make a difference. I am not judging them, I am just saying there seems to be an incredible difference in how individuals define and show their support. I would like to think MJ fans would demonstrate support where MJ needs it the most. The media was MJ’s biggest problem. And to bodycott sony? They need to think more before they do that. But that is another story.

You are right, MissZelda, people need to see the interview before they formulate an opinion. Katherine Jackson is there no doubt to set it straight. She has always stood up for her son. Oprah, well, who knows what she will do and say? We will have to wait and see.

    Buds, very well said. 😉

  7. MichaelPureSoul
    October 13, 2010 at 09:02

Ok thank you, it does belong to TINI, the only reason they may have not asked is if they may have not seen it, other are also out there using it in their own way and they shouldn’t. I understand about the petition not getting enough signatures, it’s pathetic, I can’t understand sometimes the fans, so much division, it don’t let them think straight on what to support not what not.

Can you please clarify about the followers, do you have something against them? And what did the logo mean by STOP THE HUNT? What is the hunt exactly? Thanks.

    • October 13, 2010 at 09:11

The logo was actually referring to some videos we made in the past, before this blog, and that’s why I don’t think it ever really fitted in here, because either people didn’t get the message or they misunderstood it.

    • lisalittleme
      October 13, 2010 at 09:11

No I won’t clarify what it meant. This was a long time ago and we have moved on. The logo is gone because people change.

    October 13, 2010 at 09:34

Now let’s stay calm and wait for the interview before we judge anyone. I have tweeted the petition multiple times and got angry just as many times as i tweeted it..Why?? Because there are a lot out there who have their mouth full but when it comes to sign a petition that only takes a minute, they rather get horny over some photoshopped pictures about a man who they put in a position that isn’t real. EXCUSE ME for my languege but i’m getting very angry while writing this. Only a little over 3.000 “fans” signed this petition….do I need to say more?? IMHO a lot of “fans” are out there to talk the talk, but don’t walk the walk and like Netoska says they are attention seekers. If these people act in real life the same as the do on the internet, wich I hope is not, then they will never accomplisch anything in life….

    • October 13, 2010 at 09:50

To comparison I can tell you that 10519 signed the “Fire Bashir petition”.
I know and understand that people are angry at Bashir, and Diane Dimond for that matter, but what good will it do Michael to have Bashir fired?
Yet more than 10.000 signed it..

Is the fans support more about revenge and vigilante organised in some punitive expeditions, instead of trying to do something about the things we don’t like?
It sometimes feels like it, and it is deeply frustrating.

Make the media correct their lies, this goes for Bashir and Dimond too. They are part of the media that did this to Michael.

dear friends i think you need to be careful, not to offend the general mj community. the ppl you refer to on twitter are not just hoaxers and not all hoaxers go to extremes either. many ppl who are not part of the jackson community have invaded his privacy, so this is not just limited to the hoax community.

it is true to say that many ppl would rather buy a CD, or sign up for mj fb than get involved in the justice fight. i have signed online petitions but i have to wonder about there actual value.

i believe in the door to door uncover campaign and i believe that my email will be counted and will benefit and i think the work we all did to help spread the word was of benefit and i think the uncover is achievable. but online petitions i dont know.

any call for justice is always slow and that is way determination is necessary, look at williams campaign it’s slow, ppl agree but its slow.

many on twitter and the networking sites are kids, but the other night i felt a change i really did, we need to build on it.

I would also like to thank the jacksons in particular Taj, Randy, Latoya and Jermaine for speaking out about justice. For Taj and Randy to express their views and RT the uncover information, i note that Jodi Gomes did also. Yes it is true that when they go on twitter and they receive loads of comments,(thats celebrity) but hey they responded to the opr issue and the uncover.

they should be taking the lead as janet said mj was family, so now they r, good. i wanted to see this i have been frustrated when i havent seen this public response and now its here i support it.

i hope that this site is not turning into an anti mj fan site. if we want respect we have to respect each other.

the wheels of justice are slow, but if we all try it will be unstoppable.

    • October 25, 2010 at 23:24

Those who are ‘hoaxers’ as she put it have a right to believe in the hoax if they so choose, just as those who believe he is really gone. Not all ‘hoaxers’ are stalkers. Who here can honestly say that if they saw Michael, they wouldn’t want to be near him? Anyone who says they wouldn’t would be lying. I’m sorry. But all those screaming women and fans around who faint, cry, etc at his presence are a testimony. His presence is overwhelming and exciting. Sometimes, it could be overwhelming to him, but we love him. We don’t have to explain our love to you or anyone else. If someone is a celebrity, certain things come with that package, like say I don’t know…FANS! Especially if they are any good, and he IS good. and that too for many many years. I have been a fan for 34 years, so yeah, if I saw him, I’d wanna hug him up and love on him. He has meant so much to me. I wouldn’t want to frighten him or freak him out. But I would want to touch him. Just once. that’s enough for my lifetime. I don’t expect anyone to understand that, but it’s my dream. Having said that, I am sick and tired of Zilda and her trying to tell everyone how to be a fan, etc. Who are you?! Are you a Jackson? Do you know them at all? I think not. If it wasn’t for the fans, they wouldn’t be staying in those big fancy houses and driving those cars. WE support them. That’s not to say we have a right to their privacy and all their business. BUT respect is key on both sides. I don’t care who someone is. If they disrespect me, I get in their butts about it. Repaying good with evil is NOT right. Now. Having said all that, please mind YOUR business. You know darn well we don’t want to put Mike under a magnifying glass. We just miss him and want him back. Is that so wrong? I don’t think so. I don’t expect you to understand, but I had to say my piece.

      • October 25, 2010 at 23:26

Oh, and one more thing, this ‘hoaxer’ DOES sign petitions to get Mike whatever he deserves. Bank on that!

Hi, I came across this site today, read a few pages and want to say that I appreciate the openness to each individuals point of view. This post might seem a bit off topic, forgive me but please hear me out.

I got involved with some of the hoax stuff mostly as an observer with my own opinion of course. If you believe he is gone respect his privacy, if you believe he is dead respect his memory…these are great words everyone should hold close to heart. Since day one I’ve advocated that if Michael is alive he has the right to live his life his way out of the public eye he owes us nothing more than he has already given and we should be thankful not selfish.

Several took/take offense to the word selfish because they’re not true to themselves. It is selfish to put ones own needs and feelings before anothers, in this case Michael’s. We don’t own him and we should not feel entitled to act inappropriately because we assume we know how Michael would react, in this case to the Oprah interview.

My involvement within the hoax community has been mainly to share feelings that I’m not able to share with my own friends or family because they don’t see Michael as I do. Sure everyone knows Michael the performer but not many know who/what Michael the person is/was all about. I’ve written on several forums about my support for Michael the teacher of life. I’ve been with the Jacksons since 1975 and appreciate the family. I don’t agree with the bamsday theory nor most of the other hoax stuff and I stay away from all the drama on facebook, myspace and twitter. However without some of the hoaxers I don’t think our eyes and hearts would be as wide open as they are now.

I counter just about every article filled with lies, bias and hatred towards Michael. I’ve signed a few petitions however I’m with Arabian on this subject that I wonder about their actual value. I stay informed with all things Michael and lend my voice whereever I can always with love and enlightenment.

To me this whole experience/adventure made me realize that we’ve been living in a fog and Michael has cleared away that fog giving us the courage to take action against injustice, greed, deceit, manipulation and lies fed to us on a daily basis. Much of the world was absorbed in just existing oftentimes feeling hopeless and helpless to the evils controlling the world. Michael’s stated death in my opinion brought us awareness and empowerment that enable us to actively participate in taking back control of life – as he said to bring back love into the world it’s important.

I used to listen to the news to start my day always horrified and saddened by what was being reported but never really acting upon anything because you know it just seemed so overwhelming and I thought what difference can my voice make. Well you know what, the news is a form of mind control they don’t report truth there is no honor in journalism anymore and by God my voice does count and can make a difference. I don’t watch the news anymore and find that I’m more aware by seeking truth for myself.

Aside from his message of love and peace Michael taught us that above all else respect, tolerance, patience, understanding, empathy, kindness, compassion, charity, honor, courage, perserverance, conviction and faith are but a small few key values to embrace and incorporate into our everyday lives. Given the troubled filled world of today sadly many have forgotten some if not all of these key values.

I am proud to be a voice…not an instigator, not a rumourmill, not a judge….just a voice for truth and justice for all mankind. Within the fan community this is where the focus must be directed back to. Forget about the hoopla and drama….that won’t change the world. Negativity only breeds negativity. Silence is golden however if you must speak then speak with tact, respect, grace and honor. We need to get back to the key values taught to us not only by Michael the teacher of life but by every other visionary and humanitarian throughout history.

Thank you Michael for this adventure, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Much Love, peace and God Bless.

      October 15, 2010 at 20:05

I also want to add that not all hoaxers and/or beLIEvers intentionally invade Michael’s privacy nor stalk him and rip apart his life. Mostly we have Michael’s best interest at heart. We’re all collectively just seeking truth and answers, seeking an education by trying to make sense of all that has happened since June 25, 2009. One cannot deny that this stated death is unlike any other in history.

I’m not going to bash those who are over the top. Some are misleading. Some are rude and disrespectful. Some are intelligent and thought provoking. Every person has the right to his/her own opinion and it’s up to each individual to choose who/what to believe.

This process of learning for some has revealed where we can best be of help to Michael and his family in the quest for truth and justice. For some it’s brought us closer to Michael, to understanding him and his life. It’s also brought us closer to eachother as well.

Michael unites people of all backgrounds across the globe….it’s a magical thing….thank you Michael.
Much love, peace and God Bless.

it would seem that next week oprah has two shows regarding child abuse and then on thursday will have LMP on talking about her marriage to michael and the reason it failed. it has not been stated yet when KJ and JJ will be on.

  13. October 25, 2010 at 23:35

Oh, and one more thing, I have been sick since 5 years. The memories of me sitting in the back of my folks’ car when I was 5 or 6 listening to his music on the radio, remembering when I was well and happy and young, those keep life within me. Michael is my heart and I love him so much. The thought of him being gone does not register to me, cannot register to me. Sometimes when I don’t even have the strength to get out of bed, thinking of him will put a smile on my face even in the hard times. Yeah, I wanna follow him around. I wanna be close to him. I would hope I wouldn’t creep him out, but I know he is so full of goodness that maybe I’d get healed if I were able to be near him. No, he isn’t Jesus, but Jesus put His anointing in those He chooses. I think Michael has healing within him to touch others. I don’t feel ashamed to say I want to touch him cause it’s not in a vulgar way, although I am not blind and clearly he is beautiful. But I’d just want to sit in his presence, not saying a word. Just being near to him. Now if you think this makes me weird or stalkerish or invading his privacy, I beg pardon, and you’re right he don’t owe me nothing, but I would hope he’d be gracious enough to care for another human life. I don’t know how I survived the news of June 25th, 2009, but here I am, still holding on. Why? because of a group of believers on YouTube. If I had not went there, I don’t know what would have come of me. Because of Michael, I met so many people the world over who call me on the phone and always show love to me. How can I not love him so much more for that?

    October 26, 2010 at 20:16

@NuhadAhmed We aren’t talking about ALL the fans out there but there is a large group who aren’t so respectful towards Michael. Why do you feel so attacked if you aren’t a fan like that? I do have to say that everybody is welkom here believer or not, and is also very welkom to show us their point of view, if it’s in a normal adult way. I do have to dissapoint you…ONLY 3.250 people signed the petition we have in our sidebar. I do hope that Michael has a lot more fans then the 3.250 who signed it. In a way I do understand that you wanna be close to him but think about it and put yourself in his place…would you be happy with thousends of fans screaming to you and stalking you when you wanna shop or have a day out with your kids eventhough they do mean it in a good way? Is that the price he has to pay for being famous?

First of all let me say I grew up watching the jacksons television shows they had out in the 70’s. I supported them then and I definately support them now. What this family has endure we can’t imagine the hurt and pain they all felt especially Michael. The media and so-called others has torn into them all but believe me when I say aint no devil in hell can stop what God got for this family. All the trials and tribulations this family is going through is for a reason. So family if you read this just remember your trials come to make you stronger. As Marvin Sapp say, “I Never Would Have Made It”.
