Virtual rape

365 days have almost passed since June 25th 2009, and for most of us, it has been a very emotional time.
1 year.. A lot of fans still believes he is alive, and some of them are convinced, that he did this only to give us a message and for us to find him.

There has been a lot of suggestions to what he might be trying to tell us by leaving, but don’t forget Michael’s real message. Heal the world. That was his message and only that. If you would like to pay tribute to Michael, this is what you have to do. Heal the world.

Michael was all his life very concerned with the planet, and the habitants of this planet. He was very concerned about children and the weakest in our society. He was very concerned about climate changes. And he did use a lot of his own resources, trying to make us aware of all these things.

Sometimes it seems that people forget what kind of person, Michael really is. A shy humble person. Hating being in the media, hating being “the topic of the day”.

Hoaxers calls him a genius and categorizes him with arch angels, angels or other divine or godlike creatures, when all he wants is to be a human just like anybody else. In the year passed, we have even seen suggestions like “Michael for president”, and he was even somewhat compared to Jesus.

Well, Michael and Jesus does actually have one thing in common. They were both crucified!

Michael was crucified by media all his life, every morning in a new paper. Much of his music and videos was responses to this constant crucifixion and stalking of him. And today he still get’s crucified on a daily base, this time by some of his fans.
All I can say is; stop the crucifixion of Michael Jackson!

It is scary to see the lack of respect many of his fans are showing him during this last year. They pry for any private detail and then publish it for the whole world to see. Even though they do know, that he is a very private person, but that don’t seem to matter anymore. Would you do this to your best friend?

Or they make videos and stories about erotic encounters with him, using manipulated photos that NEVER was him, and they call these manipulated images sexy. Of course this is just imagination. But knowing how private and shy he always has been, do you really believe he would like to be portrayed like this? So blame it on your generation and the fact that you are different and find this okay, ask others to respect that, and you have to respect Michael – and a lot of his fans – belongs to a generation that don’t approve of these public fantasies. He is after all a man past his 50’s.. Portraying him as a young sexy stud, is being disrespectful to real Michael of today.

And then there are the fans that are so emotionally crushed, that they blame him for the pain they go through, they need him back for their own happiness and some of them even  expect him to surface and apologise for the pain he put them through.

For these three groups of fans, I have one plea: please stop your virtual rape of Michael Jackson! Michael so desperately wanted real friends, do you have what it takes?

What you in these three groups have in common, is that you are using Michael for your own purpose. You are being selfish, because what count’s for you is your own needs, not Michael’s.

I don’t care how emotionally attached you feel to him, or how much you enjoy flashing his private matters on the internet, what you are doing is disrespectful. And still doing this one year later, can only be caused by obsession.

The rest of the fans, who does know how to pay respect to his memory, are mortified and appalled by some of the things done to Michael. As always, I might add, because he always had a loyal fan group for whom any attack or slander on Michael’s person, were triggering protests.

I hope you as a fan, who claims to love and support Michael, will take some time now that we pass this one year mark, and look into your heart and move on. Michael is not with us in person anymore, either because he wished it to be like that, or because he is gone forever.
He will still be with us in heart and memory though, in music, videos, books, films, pictures and much more. He will be here forever.

Accept that, move on and pay tribute to him instead. Honor him for what he left us – the 45 years of entertaining US, all the music and the awareness to the problems of this world. And continue his real message; Heal the world.

If you believe Michael is alive, respect his privacy.
If you believe Michael is gone, respect his memory.

Even one year late, is better than never.

You are right again.Even we are brokenheart,we have to gather up the pieces and move on.I hope people will stop to portray Michael in any ways, and they’ll use their energy to follow his message. He is a wonderful person, let’s try to be like him just a little.Let’s give him the love and respect he diserves and try to pay tribute to him.Let’s give a hand to fulfil Michael’s wish and HEAL THE WORLD.

I agree with you in all aspect. I believe in my heart that Michael has passed but that is okay. I know he is with God and finally at peace. When on this world Michael had endored so much pain from so many people be it that they were Media or tabloids they treated him with so much disrespect. To me Michael was human and yes he made mistakes easy ones that could be forgiven. I’m in my 50’s and I grew up with Michael. I don’t mourn his death I celebrate his life.
So many people are now writting books and charging the fans big bucks ($40-100? ) for a book that would of cost only $20.00 otherwise. I love the man for who was not for the man these people are trying to see. To me Michael gave me music ,vidoes and pleasure and for that I will cherish for ever.

This is an extremely sensitive article you have written. A pleasure to read, and of course, it’s about Michael Jackson.

They did not treasure the very best of and about Michael.

Sharing this passion – just like you – a in-my-40s fan.

@Sarah P I for one of many, respect Zilda’s outlook on respect of Michael Jackson…For those who believe he is gone or not, what he has been through is a great loss to the world and altho he is a beautiful person, it is very rude to some people, Like Zilda to protray him as a person he wasnt ….. Its about respect for Zilda, that is all she cares about…So out of respect for her, maybe just accept her thoughts about it instead of assume she is “jealous ” or “has no life” ?? I know Zilda and happen to know she has a wonderful life so unless you have something to say that benefits her efforts, then please refrain from personal attacks on her blog about her beliefs, life or morals…. We have freedom of speech here, dont abuse it….

@Sarah P Difference of Opinion here?Your Choice of Words was a very comprosing way to “disagree” with Zildas opinion here.My Personal believe regarding Michael Jackson is something way too long to speak about here but I do agree with Zilda regarding this Dehumanizing way of posting Delusional Stories that occured in some Peoples minds or Pictures that hold a disrespectful way towards a good human being and Artist.
Before you assume that somebody you don’t know wouldn’t have a life,or would be jealous of something I suggest you to take a good look at yourself because you seem to be a dissatisfied Person,I apologize if I have given a wrong statement with that.
As far as it goes to your words “live and let live” , yes right I agree on that. The meaning behind “live and let live” contains freedom of speech, the right to have a different opinion from others and Privacy which has been obviously attacked by you when you were reffering to Zildas live. Choice of words can be a magical gate to offend somebody and in this Case, you have the right to have a different opinion, express it nicely and polite the next time and don’t attack someone who has put great effort in a Project for the Benefit of a Great Artist who deserves some Justice.
